The Annual Easter Egg Hunt is Saturday, April 15th at 10am in the EAC. We want all youth and their friends to come out for some fun, food and prizes. Parents and grandparents WE NEED YOU to donate candy filled plastic eggs to the EAC or the Admin Office no later than Thursday, April 13th. Join us as we celebrate Pastor Thompson’s 10th Anniversary on April 23, 2017. This year’s theme and scripture is: “A love for Leadership”, 1 Thessalonians 5:12-13. The Committee is asking for a $100 love gift per family. Please make all checks payable to “Cleveland Thompson”

There will be only ONE service for Resurrection Sunday, April 16th at 10 A.M. We ask that you please join us as we celebrate the King. Make sure to get here early!

On April 14th, Emmanuel will hold a service featuring “The 7 Last Sayings” of Jesus Christ at the Emmanuel South Campus at 6:30 pm. You won’t want to miss this!

Please be in prayer for Minister Tracy Agee-Woods and her mother, Sis. Maggie Agee.  Sis. Agee lost TWO of her family members within hours of each other in the same day, Thursday, January 12, 2017.  Her brother, Mr. George Rabb (uncle to Minister Tracy) transitioned to be with the Lord on that day.  Subsequently, only hours later, her niece, Mrs. Dunyer Hunt (cousin to Minister Tracy) also transitioned to be with the Lord.

Emmanuel’s Family Day 2016:  Get ready get ready for the “E’s” Annual Family Day event. Deacon candidate Cedric Pelt and his wife Annie are our chairpersons for this year’s Family Day on July 30, 2016, from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM.  Our Theme is (EMBC) “Emmanuel Missionary Baptist Church 5 Star Family- Resetting for Greater.

It’s Spring Cleaning Time! Saturday, May 28th at 9:00, is a day set aside for cleaning and sprucing up our campuses. We are asking for your help! Please come out to help us wash windows, trim vegetation, dust, declutter, and more. The more help we have the less time it will take. Lunch will be served!

The Pikes Peak SCLC Community Prayer Breakfast will be held at the Hotel Elegante’ Conference and Event Center on May 12, 2016 @ 8:00 A.M. The theme for this occasion is “Civil Rights Based On Christian Principles.” Please join us for this historic event and community-building breakfast.

Thanks to everyone for supporting and attending Pastor Thompson’s 9th Anniversary. We had a wonderful time. We have an outstanding Pastor and you all really showed your appreciation. A special thanks to Deacon Jesse and Sister Willie Mayo, chairpersons, and their committee for all their hard work. It was a 1st class event.

Are you age 18-30 or know someone who is? Emmanuel is interested in your opinions, you are our future and you need to be included in the ministries. We need your inputs as we make future decisions. Historically Black Colleges & Universities Tour

2017 HBCU College Tour:

We are taking sign-ups and payments for 9-12th grade students interested in participating in next year's tour.  The tour dates are Oct 7-15, 2017 and we will be visiting colleges in Louisianan (Dillard and Xavier), Mississippi (Alcorn State and Jackson State), Alabama (Tuskegee, University of Alabama, and Alabama State) and Georgia (Morehouse, Spellman, and Clark-Atlanta).

Final cost is $900 which includes round trip airfare, food, bus transportation, tickets to a football game, 8 nights hotels, and a HBCU tour For Emmanuel students who have not participated in the tour before, the Moses E. Ford Scholarship Fund will subsidize $200 of your cost making your total $700.  For students not living in Colorado, your cost is $475 and you are responsible for purchasing your own airfare to New Orleans and from Atlanta.

Initial deposit to hold your seat is $100 which is non-refundable.  After paying the deposit you must pay at least $100 per month to have the balance paid no later than Aug 1, 2017.
