Sunday at Emmanuel
Our Sunday services begin with Intercessory Prayer at 6:30 AM. Begin the Lord’s Day with us, involving His presence and petitioning God on behalf of others. Intercessory Prayer is our pre-game: inviting God’s presence into His house and setting the stage for the Lord to have His way in the days’ events. For the believer who has an intimate walk with God, the richness of this weekly opportunity is beyond measure. All are welcome.
Early Worship
Our 7:45 Early Worship is a slightly compressed version of our main worship service but is no less Spirit-led and Spirit-filled. Early worship is a perfect opportunity for workers coming from overnight shifts and those who work Sundays but still wish to attend services, as well as early risers and those families who prefer to spend family time on Sundays and thus begin their day in God’s House before moving on with their Sunday plans. Our choir is in place, our pastor is preaching and our Early worship is every bit as dynamic and fulfilling as our main service.
Children's Church
Emmanuel’s Children’s Church ministers to EMBC’s newest (and shortest) members in a safe and spiritually enriching environment. Children’s Church sign-in occurs between 7:30 and 8:20 AM, and 10:30-11:30 AM.
Church School
Our Church School begins at 9:30 AM, with classes for all ages taught by gifted and well-prepared instructors leading God’s people through adventures in His Holy Word.
The Emmanuel Experience
The Emmanuel Experience, our weekly main service, begins at 10:45 a.m. Expect a dynamic, moving, and deeply personal worship experience in an environment of high praise and solemn meditation. The Emmanuel Experience encompasses conservative, traditional values which also find contemporary and progressive expression. Our worship atmosphere finds a wide range of expression inviting to all people, young and young at heart, liberal and conservative. Please pray and spend time with God on your way—in your car, as you enter, as your trust and faith in God contributes to the efficiency of the Holy spirit’s ministry during worship. Come with an expecting heart, seeking to hear from God and experience His deliverance and peace.
Weekly Bible Study is held on Wednesdays apart from every first week of the month; where a special WOW (Worship on Wednesday) service at 6:30 P.M.
Noon Day Bible Study is held every Thursday.
South Campus Worship
Same Worship, Different Experience. Under the leadership of Pastor Johnson, Emmanuel South will continue to minister, to reach out to people with sensitivity to the Lord and sensitivity to the needs of the people. Together Emmanuel North and South will minister to the “unchurched” masses and be open to all, regardless of race or background. Sunday Worship is held at 9:30am and Tuesday night Bible Study at 6:30 pm
