Vacation Bible School
Emmanuel! It’s time for Vacation Bible School! This year’s theme is “Glow for Jesus! Let Your Light Shine!” Classes will start June 19th through the 22nd and each night begins at 6:30pm. All activities will be held in the Emmanuel Activity Center (EAC) . You can pre-register online now!
You are never too old for vacation bible school! There are literally classes for all ages, so we encourage you to bring the whole family!! There will be food, fun and Bible Study. For more information you can contact Mrs. Gwen White at 719-599-0639 It’s time for Vacation Bible School!
Our amazing youth choir will sing this month on the fourth Sunday of June. Their rehearsal dates will be during vacation Bible School on the 20th through the 22nd. All youth ages 5– 18 come on out to Vacation Bible School you can be a part of the youth choir on the 4th Sunday. Young Adults Ministry
If you’re between the ages of 18 – 30, and you’d like to fellowship with other Young Adults, then this is the ministry for you. We meet once per month usually on the last Friday or Saturday. So far this year we have been to Third Space Coffee, Painting with a Twist, bowling, paint ball shooting, laser-tag, eating out, and we also coordinate our efforts with other ministries here at Emmanuel to serve our church body and the community. Young Adult Event
The young adults are going to Dave and Busters on Saturday June 24th. We will meet in the parking lot of Emmanuel’s North campus at 11:00 a.m. If you prefer, you can meet us at Dave and Buster’s. The address is 2000 South Colorado Blvd. Denver Colorado. Come join us for a fun filled afternoon of games and laughter. Freedom 90 Tips
It is often easier for us to think in terms of money, but we are called to leave a legacy to our children that transcends money. If we teach them personal responsibility and deposit into them God’s truth, they will be savers and not spenders understanding that we are blessed to teach, coach, mentor and support our fellowman; spiritually, emotionally, physically and financially. If we use our resources unwisely (pound foolish) it is the legacy that we bequeath to younger generations
