Stewardship in Action
It is that time of year when we give special attention to honoring our Lord by acknowledging that we are simply His servants – called to be “good and faithful” stewards of all His provisions. This year’s theme is “Stewardship in Action” when we will be recognizing some of the ministries that do the hands-on work for the Lord. These ministries are committed to serving the needs of others (Matthew 20:28). They focus primarily on the growth and well-being of those they serve and challenge themselves and others to grow to be more Christ like. Each Sunday in February, we will give special recognition to one of these ministries and to their service under at least one of the three pillars of our church vision: Spiritual Development, Community Outreach and Temple Restoration. The candidates have been chosen! So stay tuned Emmanuel, for what God continues to do in our church!

Freedom 90 Tips
FOR THE HOLIDAYS:
Consider using Dave Ramsey’s “Debt Snowball” method to pay off your credit cards: List your total debts in order of smallest to largest, and start attacking the smallest first. When the smallest is paid off, use that payment to attack the next smallest and so on until all your credit card debt is paid off. If you are serious about staying out of debt, consider canceling your cards and getting rid of them for good!
