It is that time of year when we give special attention to honoring our Lord by acknowledging that we are simply His servants – called to be good stewards of all His provisions. This year’s theme is “Stewardship in Action” when we shall recognize some of the ministries that do the hands-on work for the Lord and the Church. These ministries are committed to serving the needs of others (Matthew 20:28) as well as focus primarily on the growth and well-being of those they serve and challenge themselves in addition to striving and growing to be more Christ like. On the 2nd and 4th Sunday in February, we shall give special recognition to one of these ministries and to their service under at least one of the three pillars of our church vision: Spiritual Development, Community Outreach and Temple Restoration. The candidates have been chosen! So stay tuned Emmanuel, for what God continues to do in our church as we continue to go higher and be greater!

Freedom 90 Tips
BASIC TIPS FOR MAKING YOUR RESOLUTIONS WORK WHILE ON THE ROAD TO BECOMING FINANCIALLY FIT:
Work on one resolution at a time, rather than several. Set realistic and specific goals. Take small steps. Many people quit because the goal is too big to achieve. Celebrate your success between milestones. Be mindful and focus your thinking on new behaviors that will change your bad habits. Don’t plan to change, make the change!
